What We Do
BCCH carries out its activities as part of the EU HTA Framework Contract Consortium, funded by the European Commission and composed of over 30 organisations across 22 countries. It was established by RIZIV-INAMI to support Belgium in its role as Consortium Lead.
How we help
Three areas of activity

Consortium operations
On behalf of the Consortium Lead (RIZIV-INAMI, Belgium), BCCH provides administrative and operational support to the consortium, including:
- Organising consortium meetings
- Preparing operational documents
- Managing contractual and financial processes
- Supporting activities that help ensure the consortium's smooth functioning

JCA & JSC project management support
Working closely with assessor teams and other actors, BCCH supports the practical implementation of procedures, including:
- Onboarding participants
- Establishing collaboration spaces
- Organising and attending meetings
- Facilitating interactions and supporting procedural follow-up
- Helping identify operational challenges and facilitating their resolution

Expert engagement
BCCH supports the participation of selected patients, carers and clinical experts, including:
- Onboarding
- Contracting
- Kick-off meetings
- Payment administration
- Practical support and follow-up throughout participation
- Information resources to help participants understand the EU HTA process
